Hi everyone, as you know 2020 was a difficult year for everyone. Our Spring of 2020 North Carolina Pretreatment Consortium Certification School scheduled for April 26 through May 1, 2020 was postponed due to the Corona Virus. We postponed class until November 16 – 20, 2020 with the thought that things would be back to normal by then. That class was also postponed due to the virus.
We held out great hope that 2021 would see a return to normal and travel restrictions would be lifted. We have heard from many students and our Board Members/Instructors saying that they are still restricted from travelling and don’t know when that will change. This is either due to the virus or due to budgetary restrictions caused by the virus.
After much deliberation, the NC-PC Certification Board does not believe we can host a class on line that will give you the quality and immersive learning experience you expect from this school. We also can’t hold class if instructors and students can’t travel to school. Therefore, we are forced to cancel the 2021 NC-PC Certification School scheduled for April 26-30, 2021 in Clemmons, NC.
Because of the issues presented by continually cancelling and re-scheduling we will not be re-scheduling at this time. Once things get closer to normal and we hear that more people can travel we will set a new date for school. The next NC-PC Certification School, when re-scheduled, will be held at The Village Inn in Clemmons, NC.
In light of the circumstances surrounding this year’s school we are offering everyone the following options related to future Class Registration: Option 1. – Receive a full refund for your registration fee paid for the 2020 School. Refunds will be issued in the form they were paid. Option 2. – Maintain your current registration and attend the next NC-PC Certification School. If you are a municipality who registered a student who is no longer employed by you, you may hold your spot and send a new student to class. Please let me know your choice of Option 1 or 2 by March 15, 2021.
