We are getting a very high Aluminum coming into the plant. Have you or anyone ever had issues with this? We are reaching out to industry’s to see if anyone has changed processes or anything. I also reached out to septage haulers since we take them as well.

Just wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has ever had this issue and maybe what they did to resolve.

Thank you for any information you all can provide.

Check the water treatment plant, often they use aluminum sulfate and might have discharged more than regular.  You can also see if other facilities remove solids with alum and discharged more than normal. Some facilities use aluminum hydroxide in mixtures for a flame retardant that has high concentrations of aluminum.
