We don't have a C&D landfill on our system but I wanted to share this precaution: We recently received a permit application for a transfer station and the pfas level of the preliminary data was around 200 ng/l.  The transfer station would produce a relatively small volume, but we said we cannot accept that wastestream at that time because of the regulatory climate surrounding pfas.  The consultant then remarked that compared with his experience with C&D landfills, that pfas level was not very high.  I would definitely want to see sampling results for pfas sampling as part of the application process.
