Does anyone permit portajohn companies? We have one that brought us over .5 MG in January. (our plant only averages about 4-6 MGD) We decided that with that volume and other parameters, we need to classify him as an industrial user and look at a permit limiting his contributions. What kind of issues have you all experienced with high volume portajohn waste? We had some serious settling issues in our sludge pond. The chemicals kept everything stratified. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
